Are you seeking an ICT teaching job for September 2010? Are you a qualifed ICT(Information Communication Technology Teacher?
We are currently looking for experienced and strong ICT practitioners to cover in a popular secondary school in Birmingham. The post will begin 1st of September for 1 term, with a potential to continue for the rest of the school year.
This is an inner city comprehensive with a wide and diverse catchment area. It has been judged by Ofsted to be a good and improving school which works well in challenging circumstances. The self-esteem of the students is significantly raised through the work of the school and students are encouraged to develop an enthusiasm for learning. There is a high quality of leadership provided by the Head and supported by the senior management team.
The school is only 2.0 miles from the city centre. It is a 7 minute journey by car or on the 29 bus route, a short 16 minute bus trip.
All applicants Must fulfill the following criteria-
*be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification in ICT (Information and Communication Technology)
*Eligibility to register in the country you trained in
*Registration with the General Teaching Council for England (GTC)
*Be committed to maintaining and improving school standards
*Be able to plan lessons, mark coursework and contribute to department meetings.
Should have-
*Some experience teaching in British schools
*Ability to differentiate lessons effectively
