Are you looking for an English teaching job in Southampton? Are you available with immediate effect to teach English across the secondary phase? If so, we have the right teaching post for you! An independent school in Southampton is seeking a qualified and experienced English teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 on a part-time basis. The school is very flexible in terms of timetable so the teacher will have a choice of working either all day Monday or on Wednesday and Friday mornings. This English vacancy will be for this coming academic year and will start with immediate effect. Prior experience of working within the independent sector would be an advantage but is not essential for this English teaching position.

This small independent secondary school is on the outskirts of Southampton and is easily accessible from the M27. It is very proud of its ethos and the teachers strive to maintain high standards of learning. Class sizes are small, comprising of approximately 10 students. Pupil behaviour is of the highest standard and parental support is excellent. The school boasts very good facilities and due its success and popularity, it has recently expanded and opened its junior section in September 2009.
