Mid Devon school completes revamp

A school in Mid Devon is celebrating the completion of a £750,000 revamp which will help it move forward into the future, according to a local news report.
Tiverton's Castle Primary School has officially opened three new classrooms and seven remodelled classrooms on top of improving staff areas and disabled access, the Mid Devon Gazette has reported.
"This really is an exciting time for the school. We have just over 300 pupils, but we are growing to 420, so we need to use our space better," head teacher David Barnes said.
In other news, a primary school in Burnley has secured funding for a £1.2 million building which will unite the infant and junior children, a local news report has said.
Lancashire County Council's education bosses are expected to agree the finance behind the development at Burnley St John the Baptist RC Primary School later in February, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
