Ofsted commends Mid Devon secondary school

A secondary school in Mid Devon is toasting success after it was praised by Ofsted, a local news report has said.
Clyst Vale Community College in Broadclyst received an "outstanding" rating by the education watchdog in its latest inspection - an improvement compared to its May 2007 inspection, when it was rated "satisfactory."
The Ofsted report commended principal Dr Kevin Bawn and senior staff for committed leadership, supported by governors.
"This is a proud day for us and we're thrilled with this report," Dr Bawn was quoted as saying in the Mid Devon Gazette.
In other news, a nursery in Melksham is in celebratory mood following a glowing report by Ofsted, a local news report has said.
Daisychain Day Nursery in Top Lane, Whitley, was awarded an "outstanding" rating across the board by education inspectors who praised its overall effectiveness of early years provision and effectiveness of leadership and provision, This is Wiltshire has reported.
