Teachers fly to Switzerland to share their experience

Two teachers from a Gloucester school flew to Switzerland to train their counterparts at a private school, a local news report has said.

Stuart Langworthy, the deputy head teacher of Brockworth enterprise school, along with key stage three leader Nikki were invited to train teachers at Haut-Lac international school, a fee-paying school on the banks of lake Geneva that is experiencing significant growth.

According to the Gloucester Citizen, Mr Langworthy provided training to the school's leadership on employer engagement.

"We were both given quite a grilling by senior staff who were keen to find out what we did, why and how successful it has been," he was quoted as saying by the publication.

In other news, newly-qualified teachers in Lancashire have until April 23rd to enrol for a Masters in Teaching and Learning as part of efforts to improve results in key tests for local youngsters, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
