Record results for Sussex schools

Pupils and people in teaching jobs in Sussex are celebrating the county's record GCSE results.
Staff at Patcham High in Brighton and Eastbourne Technology College are very pleased.
Both schools had been told by the government that they needed to improve results.
Patcham High surpassed its target of getting 30 per cent of all pupils achieving five or more A to C passes, recording a 36 per cent pass rate.
Eastbourne Technology College also hit its target, improving results by eight per cent to 31 per cent.
The college's headteacher, Keith Pailthorpe, told the Argus: "This is a very good result and it is very encouraging."
Brighton College also performed well, returning its best ever GCSE results, with 50 pupils returning all A and A* grades.
The Conservative Party has said it will review school subjects, should it get into power at the next general election.
