Hounslow school celebrates Ofsted report

A school in Hounslow is in a celebratory mood after the release of its latest Ofsted report.
Education inspectors rated Feltham Community college as "good" with "outstanding features".
According to the learning watchdog, particular strengths of the secondary school "include outstanding care, guidance and support for an especially broad-ranging provision, including children in the workplace nursery, vulnerable students, those at risk of dropping out of school and those with challenging behaviours".
The report also said that in the last year the school has raised standards in maths and is closing the gap between those pupils who have free school meals and those who do not.
In other news, staff and pupils at a school in Bedminster are celebrating a glowing report by Ofsted.
The watchdog gave Parson Street primary school an "outstanding" rating for its care, guidance and support. Overall, the institution, which was inspected at the end of March, was found to be a "good, well-led and improving school".
