Norwich special school is outstanding, says Ofsted

A special school in Norwich is in a celebratory mood after it received a glowing report by Ofsted, the education watchdog.
Inspectors gave Eaton Hall school a series of "outstanding" grades in the areas inspected, noting its provision for children who board.
"The leadership and management of boarding is very strong and there is a firm commitment to continue to improve the school's facilities to support pupils' development and progress," the report said.
According to Ofsted, the school, which was last inspected in November 2008, takes seriously and listens to the recommendations made by its pupils on a range of matters, including menus and refurbishment, as well as the upgrading of accommodation.
"Firmly established communication systems across the school community contribute effectively to pupils' welfare and the monitoring of their well-being," inspectors said.
In other news, Ofsted has rated Feltham Community college in Hounslow as "good" with "outstanding features".
