Middlesbrough school celebrates Ofsted report

A primary school in Middlesbrough is toasting success after it received a glowing Ofsted report.
Education inspectors judged Pennyman primary school as "good", with "many outstanding features", noting that central to its success is the "outstandingly effective ambition and drive" of its leadership team.
"This is a school where every child really does matter. The care for all children, in particular those who have extensive special educational needs and/or disabilities is first rate," the learning watchdog's report said.
It noted that pupils receive good quality advice on how to improve their tasks, adding that their behaviour in lessons and around the school is "exemplary".
In other news, Ofsted has rated Cartmel Priory CofE school in south Cumbria as "outstanding".
The secondary school, which caters for 366 pupils, provides excellent care, support and guidance to its students, helping them to enjoy learning and achieve their goals, according to the education inspectors.
