Doncaster school sees three retire from teaching jobs
July 26 2010
Teaching jobs are likely to be available at a primary school in Doncaster following the retirement of three long-standing members of staff.
Hatchell Wood Primary School in Bessacarr said goodbye last week to headteacher James Bond, as well as Howard Stephens and Anne Stephens.
Mr and Mrs Stephens have been in teaching jobs since 1971, while Mr Bond has been a member of the profession since 1975, reports the Sheffield Star.
While Mrs Stephens was previously the head of Tickhill St Mary's before taking on a part-time role at Hatchell Wood, Mr Stephens and Mr Bond were previously at South Cantley Middle School.
Mr Bond's replacement has already been chosen ? Jeremy Harris is to take over as headteacher at the primary when the school term gets underway again in September.
Hatchell Wood Primary has established a School and Home Partnership which aims to encourage children to do their best, as well as keeping parents up to date with the offspring's performance.
