TimePlan on Facebook
The social networking phenomenon that has swept through the world has fast become a very useful and important tool in the everyday interaction that TimePlan has with its teachers and one another! Facebook was first started by Mark Zuckerberg, a university student at Harvard in 2004. It currently has more than 120 million active users worldwide and is available in over 35 languages. Thanks to his efforts (and that of his IT teachers), keeping in touch with friends and colleagues is made simple!
TimePlan first discovered Facebook when many of its enthusiastic, chatty and lovely colleagues found themselves spending their entire lunch break poking each other, checking walls and tagging photos. Very quickly this affectionately dubbed ‘time waster tool’ was embraced and TimePlan profiles were created by offices around the UK in order to keep in touch with teachers and to create common areas where fellow TimePlan teachers can chat, swap stories, share room to rent info and view photos from previous socials.
Facebook is used to network between TimePlan coordinators and teachers. You can find out about upcoming socials events, weekend training & professional development sessions, useful education resource links and of course jobs!
So if you are an avid Facebooker, then why not become a fan of TimePlan London, make Surrey TimePlan, HBB TimePlan, Scotland TimePlan or Midlands TimePlan your friend, search the Facebook Marketplace for one of our many and great TimePlan jobs, send us a message or just poke us!
See you in cyber space!
