Our Vetting Checks
Before we send a TimePlan Teacher to your school you will receive a Photo ID Security email giving the teacher’s details and the vetting checks that we have carried out. These can be kept to fulfil OFSTED requirements on Child Protection. Download an example (doc).
Our standard vetting checks include:
- A face to face interview
- Identification check
- Date of birth check
- Proof of address
- Qualifications verification
- Two independent professional references
- Right to work in UK
- CV check
- Criminal records check (UK and overseas if applicable)
- POCALS check
- DCSF number (or overseas equivalent if applicable)
- GTC Registration (or overseas equivalent if applicable)
- Medical fitness to teach
