Catherine is a warm and personable Languages Teacher with a confident and professional manner. Catherine is bilingual, speaking both French and English fluently and she offers these subjects to A-level. She has also studied Spanish which she confidentially teaches to Year 7 level plus has taught EAL lessons too.

Catherine has taught and tutored individuals off all ages, including adults. She has devised French taster classes using French songs and has worked in 1:1 sessions with students with a variety of physical and learning difficulties including a class with 12 statemented learners.

Catherine completed her Honours degree in Theatre Design & Performance at the Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design before embarking on her teaching qualification and put these skills to good use as a Programme Assistant for 5 years. She supported the Performing Arts Department and taught Technical Theatre subjects including, Lighting and Set & Costume Design to A-level. She designed a series of handbooks for GCSE and AS/A2 level Lighting & Costume Design for the Drama department to help students pass their exams.

She willingly gets involved outside the classroom too and has led Homework Clubs, co-organised a Talent Show and a poetry competition. Catherine would be a wonderful addition to your Languages and Drama department and go the extra mile for all her students!

An exceptional; highly experienced secondary teacher, Chris will be a fabulous addition to any school. With over 30 years’ experience in schools, plus a further 10 years experience in education related roles, Chris has gained an abundance of knowledge and skills throughout his career. With the ability to teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics to A’ Level plus lower years ICT, French and Horticulture, Chris will be valuable both inside and outside of the classroom.

The ultimate professional, Chris has been both school Principal and District Manager for the Ministry of Education. In other roles, Chris has also been Head of Science and Head of Department for Maths and Science in two schools. He has taught a variety of students with SEN including Downs Syndrome, Spina-Bifida and hearing impairments. Whilst Principal, Chris’ school became the school of choice for deaf students.

In both his principal and Ministry of Education roles, Chris has dealt with many safeguarding issues. He has been involved with many outside sources and was part of a collaboration group between schools, police and social services. Chris has also supported under-performing schools with a variety of needs including finance, academic achievement and management needs. A high-performing teacher, Chris has also worked as a Lecturer at Teachers’ College, teaching students from both primary and secondary courses.

Chris would be an asset to extra-curricular learning as he has previously helped with stage productions, including light and sound work. He has a passion for electronics and computer programming and has even been involved with the construction of new houses. Siobhan is an enthusiastic and diligent UK trained Primary Teacher with nearly 3 years of experience to date. Additionally, Siobhan has worked with pupils with hearing impairments, speech and language difficulties, ASD, behavioural issues and Social problems, making her fully equipped to cater to the needs of any pupil/s with SEN within her class.
