Job Description

This school in Barking and Dagenham wish to appoint a Foundation class teacher with excellent teaching skills and a commitment to raising standards of pupil achievement.

This is an average-sized Infant and Nursery school in a deprived area of outer East London. About two fifths of the pupils are entitled to free school meals. Pupils come from a number of ethnic backgrounds. A few pupils are at the early stages of learning English. The proportion of pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities is around the national average.

The successful canditate have a passion for teaching, a sense of humour and be very flexible. A willingness to become involved in school and community activities and the ability to work well in team.
