Are you looking for a SEN teaching job? If you are, TimePlan has an exciting Special Needs teaching opportunity in a Primary School in Thurrock. We are looking for a hard-working and committed teacher who will has experience working with hearing impaired students.
This large school is popular and oversubscribed and well serviced by public transport. It houses Thurrock's resource base for the hearing impaired which caters for 14 students who are fully mainstreamed. These students make outstanding progress due to the excellent support they receive from specialist staff. The school is welcoming and positive and maintains extremely productive links with parents.
The school wishes to appoint a fully qualified teacher of the deaf who wants to make a difference to these children.The successful candidate would lead targeted groups and work with individuals and be on hand to provide advice and guidance when necessary. An ability to use a variety of communication methods including British Sign Language and sign supported English would be an essential requirement.
