Job Description
Cover supervisors needed to cover a wide range of subjects in Surrey schools. Have you specialised in a specific area and want to offer your skills to schools? Specialist areas include Music, Dance, Drama, Sports and Art. Do you want to float across the primary age range supporting a great team of teaching staff when they are released for PPA?
You need to be a strong classroom practitioner who is energetic, personable and comfortable working with full classes of children. You would also need to be able to work closely with the teachers and other school staff. Most classes have full time teaching assistants and the use of an interactive white board, so you would be encouraged to be creative with your lessons. This is a great opportunity to join a good team of teaching staff!
The successful PPA cover specialist needs to have at least 6 months UK work experience or be a UK graduate. Responsibilities would include:
* Planning and observation, assessments and report
writing
* Creating a safe and secure environment
* Maintaining high standards within the health & safety
guidelines
* Building excellent rapport with children and staff
