Job Description

Teaching Assistant position in Birmingham. We are currently looking for a dynamic Teaching Assistant to embark on this exciting Teaching Assistant position starting after Spring half term for a wonderful school in Birmingham. The position is likely to run for 1 term, with possibility of extending further. The successful candidate should have classroom based experience and be familiar with working with Infant aged children. There will also be some 1:1 work involved with a child who has challenging behaviour.

A wonderful Primary School located in Birmingham seeks an experienced Teaching Assistant as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be committed to helping students achieve high standards. The school is situated on beautiful spacious grounds, has large classrooms and ample resources. The school provides professional development and abundant support for their staff. This is an excellent school to be a part of.

The successful candidate should:

- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE

- Have recent experience as a Teaching Assistant

- Have experience in a classroom based role within the last 2 years.

- Have experience working 1:1 with challenging pupils

- Have the right permission to work in the UK

- Be familiar in working with infant aged children
