A Nursery Assistant is required for an immediate start at a nursery school in central Southampton. You will be required to work every Monday and Tuesday morning from 8.30am to 11.30am on an ongoing basis. The role will require you to assist the Nursery Teacher with the morning activities, which will include setting up the work stations, supervising the children whilst on task and assisting with break time duties. This Nursery Assistant position in Southampton is suitable for a qualified individual (CACHE Level 2 and above) with experience of supporting young children within a nursery setting. All applicants must also possess excellent communication and organisational skills. What was initially a nursery and infant setting has now become a successful primary school, currently providing education for children from 3 to 7 years of age. This will increase to become a full primary school catering for pupils up to Year 6 in the next few years. To be considered for this Nursery Assistant position in Southampton, all candidates must fulfil the following criteria:
* Be at least CACHE level 2 qualified (or equivalent);
* Have previous experience of working within a nursery setting;
* Hold a current UK CRB;
* Be able to provide two references (one from your most recent school);
* Have proof of right to work in the UK;
* Be available for a face-to-face interview;
* Commit to the full duration of the contract.
