TimePlan are offering a fantastic, long term, Year 1 teaching job throughout the summer term, every Thursday and Friday in a Portsmouth Infant school. This Infant school is seeking to appoint a long term Year 1 teacher to join their dedicated team of staff to cover the summer term. The successful applicant will have QTS, considerable KS1/ Key Stage 1 experience and will be required to teach Year 1. This long term Year 1 position will start on the 19th April and run until the end of the summer term. This Year 1 teaching job in the Portsmouth area is suitable for a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated KS1/ Key Stage 1 teacher with in-depth knowledge and experience of working with Year 1.
An effective and improving school. Standards achieved in
reading, writing and mathematics are in line with national averages. Standards in science are above that expected of similar age pupils. The school has recently undergone an extensive building re-development project which has replaced the former buildings with eight new classrooms, each with additional computer areas and art areas, a new library, a food technology area and physiotherapy treatment room.
All candidates must fulfil the following criteria:
* Have QTS;
* Be able to teach Year 1;
* Have proven expertise of working within the KS1 phase;
* Have current GTC registration;
* Be available for face to face interview.
