Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Consultant within TimePlan Education Group, the UK’s first Education recruitment agency. We require an individual with the necessary drive, determination and self-motivation to achieve success within a sales-orientated environment with support from an established team.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recruitment Consultant who can deliver a high level of service to our existing business users as well as build upon our current market penetration. As an experienced Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with schools and applicants as well as matching schools’ recruitment requirements with applicants’ job aspirations.

As TimePlan deal specifically within the educational sector, the appointed Recruitment Consultant will have to have proven recruitment experience or have an excellent understanding of the UK education system, including knowledge of age ranges, types of schools and the progression from primary through to Higher Education. Main duties/responsibilities of the role will include:• To identify, target, convert and maintain a client base that will enable the desk to achieve profitable growth in line with individual and branch targets.

• To consistently win new business through ongoing sales activity, i.e. proactive cold sales, sales visits, sales drops, sales presentations.

• Develop and implement ideas for improving the efficiency of the section.

• Gain market and competitor knowledge.

• To meet and exceed revenue targets as set by the Business Manager.

• Sourcing, contacting, vetting, interviewing and registering all prospective candidates. You will also be required to canvass prospective clients.

To be considered for this Recruitment Consultant position, all candidates must:• Have proven recruitment experience or have a strong business-to-business sales background.

• Be a good self-motivator and be able to work independently whilst under pressure in a challenging and busy environment.

• Be ambitious and show strong initiative, persuasion and networking abilities.

• Be flexible in approach as well as able to prioritise a busy workload.

• Experience of educational recruitment is preferable but not essential for this role; however you must have either considerable knowledge of the education sector OR previous recruitment experience.

• Be happy to work on a shift pattern – both 7am to 3.30pm and 10.30am to 7pm.

• A car-owner is also desired, as the appointed candidate will be required to visit schools on a regular basis.For the right person, the rewards are tremendous!
