A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Maths teacher at a centrally-based college on the Isle of Wight. The college is looking for an experienced Maths specialist to join them on a full time basis to teach Maths to A level. This Maths teaching position on the Isle of Wight will commence as soon as possible and may become a permanent role for the right candidate.
This college offers a broad curriculum to befit the needs of the local community. The main campus is located in the centre of the Island and has an excellent examination success record. Graded 1 during its last inspection, the college has invested a lot money in its facilities as well as the vast range of opportunities that it offers its students.
This college is easily accessible by bus on the Island and also via foot/car ferry from Southampton's Town Quay.
To be considered for this Maths teaching vacancy on the Isle of Wight, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
* Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification;
* Be a Maths specialist and have prior experience of teaching Maths to A level;
* Have current GTC registration;
* Hold a current UK CRB;
* Be available for face to face interview;
* Commit to the full duration of the contract.
