Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a well qualified and experienced teacher of Physics starting September 2012. The successful candidate will lead Physics within the Science department, so must have a background specialising in Physics with the capacity to teach at least two of the KS3 & KS4 disciplines.

This successful and popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive is based in a pretty market town 20 miles from Norwich. It has over 1,200 students with a very well attended Sixth Form. The school has an excellent reputation in the area and enjoys well motivated students and staff. Ofsted described the behaviour of the students as ‘outstanding’.

Consequently it is a pleasant school in which to teach. It has an excellent record of both academic and sporting achievement, with examination results consistently above the county and national average.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must fulfil the following criteria:

* Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification

* Eligible to work in the UK

* Be qualified to teach A-Level Physics

* Have at least 3 years teaching experience

* Be able to provide 2 teaching related referees
