A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Maths teacher at an 11 to 16 academy in Cornwall. The school is looking for an experienced Maths specialist to join them on a full time basis to teach Maths to Key Stage 4. This Maths teaching position in Cornwall will commence in September 2012 and will run for two terms initially.
The school is located in South West Cornwall and has excellent facilities for the Arts and Sport. They base their ethos on raising aspirations, inclusion and respect and these three elements have been the foundation of their success. There is effective pastoral care for the pupils and an experienced leadership team in place to uphold their high expectations of behaviour and academic progress. They were graded an outstanding school by Ofsted in their 2010 inspection and the school continues to build on this reputation.
The school is easily accessible via car from the A30 and can also be reached via train from Redruth and Camborne train stations.
To be considered for this Maths teaching vacancy in Cornwall, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
* Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification;
* Be a Maths specialist and have prior experience of teaching Maths to GCSE level;
* Hold a current UK CRB;
* Be available for face to face interview;
* Commit to the full duration of the contract.
