This TimePlan client high school is a mixed Foundation School for 11-16 year old pupils which has held specialist Arts College status since 2002. Its vision is to "strive to provide an appropriate high quality academic, technical and practical education to meet the needs of our pupils so that they can contribute to the ever changing economy"
Pupils are encouraged to develop leadership skills through gaining awards in the Arts, in Junior Sports Leadership and in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
The pupils regularly have opportunities to work together, accepting compromise, to balance different interests and to aim for improvement in all that they do. Staff are able to make use of all the latest technology and equipment in the school to help facilitate this approach.
