Year 2 Teaching Job.
TimePlan has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 teacher to make a positive impact at this client school.
We are looking for a hard-working and committed teacher who is able to show initiative in the classroom and who is extremely passionate about teaching. This Year 2 position starts in September 2012 and offers a permanent contract after successful completion of an induction period during the Autumn Term.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher (NQTs welcome to apply) ideally with a strong academic background together with strong numeracy & literacy skills. You will possess a 'can do' attitude and be determined to play a full part in school life.
This is a large primary school in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth with strong and supportive leadership who have exciting new plans to develop and enhance the learning of its pupils. Children are placed in mixed ability classes according to age. Teachers encounter a wide range of teaching situations from individual one to one support, small group activities to whole class teaching.
The school understands the importance of the academic and social development and places a significant emphasis on English & Maths, the child is encouraged to have a positive attitude to learning and is given the opportunity to realise his/her full potential before reaching Secondary school.
Extra-curricular activities are an important part of life at school and the school offers a wide range of club and opportunities for its pupils.
