TimePlan Education has been placing primary and secondary teachers in teaching jobs in the West Midlands for over 20 years. In this time we have helped 1000’s find their perfect teaching job in the local authorities of Birmingham, Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley, Coventry, Worcestershire, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire and Solihull.
TimePlan currently holds a Framework Agreement with Birmingham City Council and is an approved and recommended supplier of education personnel to Birmingham Schools and Children’s Centres.
Teaching in the West Midlands means you will find yourself situated right in the heart of England; Birmingham is dubbed England’s second capital after London. This great city has almost as much to offer in terms of architecture, culture, history, museums, shopping and vibrant night-life.
The Schools We Cover
We can secure you teaching jobs in the West Midlands in a range of the 1500+ schools within the nine local authorities in the West Midlands. A variety of opportunities exist for both primary teaching jobs and secondary teaching jobs in the Midlands. Schools vary in character depending on location and socio-economic environment and range in size from tiny rural primary schools to large inner city secondary schools/colleges with over 2000 pupils.
Everyday TimePlan has a number of teaching vacancies placed with us, ranging from daily supply teaching jobs to long-term teaching jobs. We currently have teachers in long-term primary and secondary teaching positions in schools throughout the region and also have a pool of daily supply teachers. The majority of our daily supply is based in Birmingham schools.
Living and teaching in the West Midlands is less expensive than living in London. TimePlan can provide rooms to rent in fully furnished properties from £250-300 per calendar month, or we can put you in touch with a number of letting agencies. City centre apartments are available for rent, both furnished and unfurnished from £500 and houses to let in the suburbs will cost approximately £500 per month upwards.
CPD and Socials
CPD (continued professional development) courses are available throughout the year and all TimePlan teachers and support staff are welcome to attend.
As well as some wonderful opportunities for teaching jobs in the West Midlands, we try to have at least two socials a term. Invariably when the beer runs out, most teachers amble up the road to the Walkabout on Broad Street – the hub of Birmingham nightlife – to continue the party.
