An Outstanding Secondary School based in Redbridge, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Biology Teacher to start in January 2023.

This larger than average secondary school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit anengagingBiology Teacher to join their team in January 2023. The school is a successful and happy school, who are proud of their consistently high performance. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic.

The Head Teacher together with a successful Senior Leadership Team have worked very hard to recruit a team of teaching and support staff who strive to bring the best out of every student, no matter their individual ability. Having been graded Outstanding in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "There is a strong culture in the school that says everyone can be successful in meeting their aspirations. Pupils at all levels feel very safe and secure because of the support provided through the academic and care teams in each year group and their tutors.'

BIOLOGY TEACHER:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented andenthusiastic Biology Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Biology from KS3 – KS4. There will be the opportunity to teach Biology to KS5. You will be working alongside an incredibly supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. Together, the department aim to ensure that students are given the experiences that will enable them to gain the necessary knowledge and understanding to become confident citizens in an ever increasingly technological world. They want to ensure that they can recognise both the usefulness and the limitations of scientific technique and realise that science is relevant in many aspects of everyday life.

They are looking to recruit a Biology Teacher to join start in January 2023.

To be considered for thisBiology Teacherrole you must have:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· PGCEin Biology

· Experience teaching Biology from KS3 – KS4
