A Good Secondary School based in Redbridge, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate English Teacher to join their team from January 2023.

This large secondary school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit an English Teacher to join their team from January 2023. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have undergone many changes over the years, but at the heart they remain a school with traditional values.

The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders place great importance on developing the whole child. They have high expectations on pupil's behaviour, and students do behave well, showing respect towards each other and towards adults."

The school is located with walking distance from London Overground Stations and has parking available.

English Teacher

The English department aim to teach a wide range of skills in line with the National Curriculum, whilst offering a stimulating framework which captures the enthusiasm and enjoyment of English for students of all abilities. Their key goal is to support all students in achieving their individual potential. It is a popular subject, whereby the teachers recognise the importance of literacy skills which allow students to communicate with others, both at school and in their everyday lives. A large department, there are 11 teachers, all with varying levers of experience and expertise, which when working together, make this a very successful department. The successful candidate will be required to teach English to KS3 and KS4. Both experienced and newly qualified English Teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.

The role is to start in January and the school are looking for someone who is able to commit to the remainder of the academic year.

To be considered for thisEnglish Teacherrole you must have:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· PGCEin English

· Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4

· The desire to join a very successful department and school.
