PE TEACHER

A Good Secondary School based in Redbridge, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate PE Teacher to join their team from January 2023.

This large Community school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit a PE Teacher to join their team from January 2023. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have recently completed their rebuild and the facilities available are fantastic.

The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better there expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders and their staff work together to maintain high expectations of all pupils. This leads to pupils good behaviour and positive relationships."

The school is located with walking distance from London Overground Stations and has parking available.

PE TEACHER:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented andPE Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Girls PE from KS3 – KS4. You will be working alongside an incredibly supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. All students are encouraged to participate in the extensive and successful extra-curricular programme with competitive and recreational clubs running before school, at lunch time and after school. Having recently completed a rebuild, there are fantastic facilities available to the department. The PE department have been highly successful in recent borough and division competitions covering a wide range of sports and athletics. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.

The role is to start from in January and will be for the remainder of the academic year in the first instance.

To be considered for thisPE Teacherrole you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• PGCEin PE
• Experience teaching Girls PE KS3 and KS4
