TimePlan Education are urgently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Primary School teachers based in the borough of Haringey, London to work in a variety of schools on a supply basis.
The supply work available is across both mainstream and independent schools and ranging from Early Years to Key Stage 2.
You will be UK or overseas trained, experienced or newly qualified, but must be confident teaching new students and building relationships with a variety of staff members. You will be delivering work set for the majority of the time, though must be able to think on your feet as you may be covering sickness, and no-one plans to be sick. You will also adhere to the individual school's policies.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience a range of different primary schools in London, working alongside highly trained professionals and friendly and supportive Primary Schools.
The work on offer is very flexible and works to your availability and preferences. Working as a supply teacher is also a great chance to build up relationships within local schools, learn new teaching techniques and develop different behavioural strategies.
The majority of supply work also tends to lead into something longer term should that be something of interest, as you tend to start building up your own portfolio of schools.
To register for supply work, you MUST meet the following criteria:
- Be a qualified teacher (B Ed Education or PGCE + QTS)
- Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
- Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 2 years
- Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher
- Continue to be a superstar
