The Company

TimePlan Education is a recruitment agency that works with schools around the UK, to find teachers and support staff for positions in a variety of schools. As the first ever teaching agency in the UK, established in 1989, we have a proven track record of success; over the last 26 years we have placed 80,000 teachers in over 7,500 schools around England, Scotland and now Wales. TimePlan Education has also recently acquired an additional agency called Empowering Learning and we are looking to expand our overseas recruitment.

TimePlan’s overseas operations fall within the International Recruitment Team (IRT). You would be responsible for sourcing and processing suitable candidates for the UK offices in order for them to fill UK teaching and school support staff (SSS) jobs including long-term, permanent and daily positions.

Procurement of candidates comes from a variety of sources and focuses on university fairs and campus visits, word of mouth, social media, job boards, general advertising and 3rd party referrals. Processing candidates generated from these sources is required to generate schedules for overseas recruitment trips, as well as for direct telephone/Skype interviews and subsequent placements.

Main Responsibilities:

• To assist in the procurement and processing of quality candidates from across the globe from our Canadian office for teaching jobs in the UK.

• To carry out a range of administration tasks required to assist the overseas offices in processing potential candidates.

• To attend university fairs and events; foster good relationships with universities.

• To build strong relationships with teachers/support staff in order to support them in a transition to the UK.

• Use jobs boards and social media to attract candidates.

• Conduct interviews and organise interview schedules for UK recruiters.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree with current provincial teaching license in “good standing.”

• Willingness to travel, current driver’s license

• Teaching experience in the UK or recruitment experience would be an asset

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
