Nursery Nurse Jobs

nursery nurse jobs

Nursery nurses and nursery assistants work in a variety of settings including preschools, nurseries and school reception classes. They are responsible for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. Nursery nurses and assistants make sure that the children under their care develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that all schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life, Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, 2014.

TimePlan Education receives vacancies for well qualified nursery nurses and nursery assistants everyday to fill nursery nurse jobs around the country. Positions include nursery nurse/assistant daily cover/supply jobs in preschools, children’s centres and private nurseries as well as vacancies for longer term roles and permanent positions.
