Key Responsibilities

  • Providing tailored learning support that aligns with each student's specific needs and goals
  • Collaborating closely with other teachers and staff to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Emphasizing student success and continual development, tracking progress regularly
  • Encouraging student independence, promoting positive behavior, resilience, and academic growth
  • Helping to maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment for students

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a learning support role essential
  • SEN experience highly desirable, specifically with autistic, physically challenged, and severely or profoundly learning-challenged children
  • Excellent communication skills and empathy to engage and interact with both students and staff
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work, thriving in the dynamic school environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK required
