Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering dynamic, engaging and age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, independence and learning in Nursery pupils.
  • Incorporate exploration and play-based learning experiences, inspired by our setting's philosophy.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that respects diversity and promotes self-confidence and a love for learning.
  • Maintain effective communication and partnerships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • DTLLS, QTLS or a relevant childcare qualification
  • Previous experience as a nursery teacher or assistant, or equivalent childcare role
  • Subject-specific expertise, genuine love for children and competency in promoting play, exploration and creativity
  • Evidence of strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic early years setting
