Key Responsibilities

• Tailoring the general education curriculum for individual students' needs and assisting them in achieving academic success.
• Providing one-on-one interaction and support for students with Autism to effectively reach their learning goals.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Acting as a positive role model to inspire students to be enthusiastic about their learning.
• Fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Special Needs Assistance qualification or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children affected by Autism, demonstrating strong subject-specific expertise.
• Willingness to learn and apply new strategies and techniques, showing high degree of adaptability.
• Familiarity with safeguarding policies and practices in schools.
• Enhanced DBS check.
