Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support to Autistic students, addressing their individual learning needs and promoting engagement.
- Implementing clear strategies for managing behavior and maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and parents to advance student progress.
- Monitor and report on student progress, helping identify any potential issues or achievements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience of working as a Special Needs Assistant or similar role, preferably with an Autism focus.
- Recognized qualifications applying to the role (such as QTS or Autism-specific certifications)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to adapt to various situations.
