Key Responsibilities
- Hand in hand with the teaching team, deliver inspiring, tailored educational support to special needs students, enriching their learning experience.
- Facilitate students' social and emotional development, ensuring their digital safety and wellbeing.
- Engage in planning and delivering personalized teaching and learning strategies to each special needs student, considering their individual educational health, and personal care plans.
- Actively partake in school events, fostering and maintaining a strong sense of community within and beyond the school's environ.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Special needs support qualifications or equivalent vocational education.
- Previous experience in mainstream or special needs education would be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with parents, teaching staff, and external agencies.
- A compassionate approach, a high level of patience and adaptability, to deliver the most effective support to students of various needs.
