Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored learning support to pupils with special needs, ensuring lessons match individual learning styles and abilities
• Work closely with classroom teachers, using your expertise as a Special Needs Assistant, to optimize each student's achievement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Promote the ethos "I CAN, YOU CAN, TOGETHER WE WILL" through daily interactions and teaching practices

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Special Needs Assistant or in a similar role working with special needs students
• Relevant certifications and qualifications for support staff, such as NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent
• Knowledge of individualized learning and support approaches for students with special needs
• Adaptable, patient, and empathetic, with exceptional interpersonal skills
