This school deals with a range of learning difficulties. Their ethos is supportive and they have high expectations of pupils. Specialisms include language and communication difficulties, the TEACCH approach, use of symbol and a range of therapies. The school received the DfES School Achievement Award for two years running and a Swan Award for Exceptional Pupil Progress from Bucks County Council.
