This is a special school for boys with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. The school has been successful in gaining Specialist Schools Status and, through its specialism in the management of pupils' behaviour, has provided training to other schools in the area, which has been well received. Boarders enjoy their time and receive a good standard of care. There is a relaxed and supportive atmosphere and pupils have good constructive relationships with the staff.
