Teaching in the UK
In the schools
Schools in the UK have enthusiastically adopted the ‘global teacher’ and the cultural enrichment they bring with them.
TimePlan Teachers have enjoyed very welcoming and supportive school environments over the years. Newly arrived teachers also benefit from TimePlan’s Induction Series at our local offices, as well as our regular Professional Development Workshops held throughout the year.
Will it be different? Of course! But isn’t that what you’re here for? Teachers who come to the UK appreciate the exposure they get to a new curriculum, new ideas, new school policies and new teaching techniques.
Please see our FAQs for more detailed information about schools in the UK.

Your application procedure is simple and straightforward. Our vetting checks are thorough, but our International Team is here to help you through your application from first contact to securing that perfect job. There are a number of documents we will need for your file, and we encourage you to be in touch with your key contact on a regular basis both before and after you arrive in the UK. We are here to help.
A successful interview is also a part of our registration process. TimePlan travels around the globe on a regular basis to meet with fully qualified teachers. Check out our events list to see when we’re in a city near you. While we prefer to interview our teachers face-to-face, we are happy to make alternate interview arrangements if need be.
If you have not done so already, simply complete our online registration form and a member of the TimePlan team will be in contact with you within 24 hours.
